Our Kiwanis Club collaborates with Waynesville Parks and Rectreation to put on an annual “Spring Fling” at the Waynesville Recreation Center. The event is free with no charge to the general public. It runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a Saturday usually in June. This event was originally started by Bill and Jane Daniels, former Kiwanians. There are games for children and inflatables to play on in the gym. Refreshments are provided. Members are responsible for assisting with the supervision of the children and preparing and serving lunch.
