Flags

Our Flag Project is one of our primary activities and has been a part of our fund raising program since it was begun in 1963. The flags down both sides of Main Street, Russ Avenue, and other streets of the town create a great feeling of patriotism. Mike Simonson took over the flag program from Jim Wagoner. Mike has managed this program for a couple of years. It has become a favorite with the people of the community as well as with visitors to our town. The set up fee for new participants is $100 which includes the first year of service. The annual fee for this continuing service is $50. We have a dedicated group of members who give freely of their time to keep this program going strong.
